1. Product and license

FamilyTree is family tree software intended for personal use. One purchase grants one license for one computer. If you change computer, contact support to request a replacement key. As soon as the new key is issued, the previous key becomes invalid on our server. The application checks license validity when it is online.

2. Price and payment

The applicable price is the price displayed when the order is placed. Payment is processed by the provider shown during checkout. Any applicable taxes are displayed before payment is confirmed.

3. Data and backups

FamilyTree data is stored locally. The user remains responsible for their computer, files and sufficiently recent backups.

4. Intellectual property and liability

Purchasing a license does not transfer ownership of the software, its code or its design. To the extent permitted by law, FamilyTree is not liable for data loss connected to the user's device, files or lack of backups.

5. Statutory rights and contact
