Your family tree data
FamilyTree is designed to store your family tree locally on your computer. The contents of your tree are not sent to family-tree-software.com in order to use the software.
Contact form
When you contact us, we store the last name, first name, email address, message, IP address, creation date and processing status. This information is used only to handle your request, reply to you and limit abuse.
License and activation
To issue and verify a license, we store the purchase email, payment order reference, current license key, activation status and device identifier. When support issues a replacement, the former key is no longer valid. Your family-tree content is not involved.
Payment
Payment may be processed by an external provider. FamilyTree is not intended to store your payment card details. The payment provider applies its own privacy policy.
Technical data and cookies
The hosting provider may retain technical logs required to operate and secure the website. The current website does not use advertising or audience-measurement cookies.
Retention and contact
Messages are retained for as long as needed to handle and follow up on the request. To request access, correction or deletion of your information, email [email protected].
